Now we are able to publish the report written by a group of authors who carried out their work within the program of fundamental investigations of the Presidium of Russian Academy of Sciences № 14 in 2009: “Prospects of finding the industrial clusters of endogenous hydrogen in lithosphere” (Russian, pdf, 4,5 Mb).

Our group started cooperating with Ukrainian Association for Hydrogen Energy. As a result our site was updated and technical support services were introduced. From this moment on the site will be regularly updated and will be translated into English. Further cooperation is planned in order to establish and develop international relations and to provide a rapid transition to hydrogen energy.
Our group started cooperating with IFP Energies nouvelles (French Institute of Petroleum: New Energy). The IFP’s young research group carries out researches on hydrogen degassing. The first meeting was held in September 2010 in the IFP’s main office in France, near Paris, where the parties presented their achievements in the field of studying hydrogen. The second meeting was held in October 2010 on the Russian Black Earth territory during the studies of hydrogen degassing structures – a circular depression with a diameter of 2.5 km.
At the Faculty of Soil Science of Moscow State University V.N. Larin’s assumption about the destructive effect of molecular hydrogen streams on the soil’s organic matter has been experimentally confirmed.

In the vicinities of Moscow near the Zhilino village an outlet of a hydrogen stream has been found. Hydrogen concentration in the subsoil air exceeded 1,6%.
